Steps
Pulsing is easy and the more you do it, the quicker you will get.
You can do it on the bus, on the street, at work, at your PC, on the toilet.
-
When the clock chimes six, think of a time when you felt mutual love i.e. for your child, for your pet, for a baby you held in your arms, your partner, an old love.
-
Remembering how the feeling felt, let it swell up, or out, feeling it within your body.
-
With that feeling within you, think of people you like, and within your mind visually give it to them. If possible give it to the people around you or even to mankind. Think of peace. Hold it for as long as possible.
It can be difficult the first time, but the more you do it, the easier it gets.
Tips
Here are a couple of tips, more in the FAQ section.
- If you can’t think of such an occasion, just try to visualise such a feeling, or how it feels when you are really happy (got through exams, won a contest, felt on top of the world). The feeling has to be happy and to be positive to others.
- You might have the feeling in the stomach or your breast. If you you cannot pinpoint it, have a go at visualising it in your breast
- Try to amplify the feelings you have; Visualise that you have a volume control which you can turn up. Or a slider which you can push up. Turn it to max :-). If you like cooking you can visualise the knob of a cooker - turn the heat up.
- It might help by closing your eyes. (Don’t do this when driving!)
- If the news comes on the radio or TV, just turn it down for a couple of seconds and pulse - you won’t miss much.
Do it with your friends. You can even hold each others hands or hug each other. Try it with colleagues.
Set a repeat alarm on your mobile for every Friday at 6 pm (18:00h) so that you will be reminded.
Tell your friends
Tell your friends, family, colleagues about it, send them the link, or just copy and paste. It is free and easy
Practise
You can even do it once a day.
You will find that you will feel better in the long run.
